Safety and Effectiveness of Liquid Embolic Agent Embolization of Arteriovenous Malformations

The risk of complications is low, with minor complications such as headache, nausea, and vomiting being the most common side effects. However, serious complications such as stroke or bleeding are rare and occur in less than 5% of cases, mostly in larger volume AVMs.
