Neurosafe is doing Chinese Chinical test for LAVA Liquid Embolic System in 8 units Chinese hospital, like Beijing Tiantan Hospital CMU, West China Hospital of Sichuan University, The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, etc.
Till June-28-2023, it has the 88 enrolled cases (42 cases in the test group and 46 cases in the control group). All of them were successfully embolized and withdrawn smoothly, and the embolization success rate was 100%.
For LAVA liquid embolic system:
1. Non-adhesive material, non-stick catheter, it is more safe.
2. Unique formula of low viscosity (LAVA-12), wide viscosity grades (LAVA-18 and LAVA-34).
3. Better dispersion and deeper penetration into the nidus and in distal microvessels.
4. More micronized tantalum powder grain size, slower precipitation and excellent visibility.
