DredgerTM Clot Retriever Device
The DredgerTM Clot Retriever Device features movable cell design, a soft distal tip and full length visibility for easy placement, integration and retrieval. NeuroSafe's Clot Retriever Device portfolio varies in size from 2mm to 7mm in diameter and from 20mm to 42mm in length. The device is guided toward the blood clot through a major artery, and the fine mesh-like end of the device traps the blood clot. Once the blood clot is trapped, the device is removed, taking the blood clot with it.
Features&Advantages
1. The soft tip prevents damage to the inner wall of the blood vessel.
2. Large push wire allows physician to manipulate the device to successfully retrieve the clots.
3. Comprehensive sizes meet a variety of different requirements.
4. The truck net design prevents small blood clots from escaping to the distal end.
5. The movable varied cell design for capturing, clamping and removal of thrombus.
6. Complete visible provides real-time visual feedback to assist clinicians during surgery.
7. The minimum radial outward force reduces vascular intima stimulation and damage.

What is mechanical thrombectomy using a stent retriever?
Mechanical thrombectomy using a self‐expandable retriever is a novel technique that involves simultaneous deployment of one revascularization device into the clot at the arterial bifurcation and retrieval as a single unit for thrombectomy.
Stent retriever technology is the current standard for mechanical thrombectomy in acute ischemic stroke by retrieval of a self-expanding clot retriever device. The unique design of the stent retrieval serves two functions: first, it acts as a temporary bypass by permitting immediate restoration of flow through the clot by expanding the clot retrieval thrombectomy device within the clot. Second, it traps the clot within its stent struts, facilitating clot retrieval.
