The most important technical characteristics of aspiration catheters include the ability to deploy, the inner diameter of the catheter, and the stability of the lumen. NeuroSafe's 0.072-inch ultra-large inner diameter catheter has a strong suction effect, which can shorten the operation time and achieve a higher recanalization rate.
In terms of the design of the internal structure, NeuroSafe's Glutton catheter adopts a distal gradual design to make it have better proximal push performance. In addition, the inside of the catheter uses a mixed structure of coils and braided to make the catheter more stable and less prone to deformation during strong aspiration. With the continuous improvement of nickel-titanium alloy pipe processing technology, the wall thickness of metal reinforced structure will be further reduced, making it possible to manufacture catheters with large diameter and strong control.
For the material of the inner cavity of the catheter, because of the double-layer structure, a hydrophilic coating is used on the distal end, so that the thrombectomy stent retriever is pulled back more smoothly, and the lumen is more stable, thereby it has better suction effect and catheter stability.
NeuroSafe has 6F and 5F hardness types. In terms of compatibility and model selection, it has different lengths of 115cm, 125cm, and 132cm to suit different types of surgery. NeuroSafe will launch a BGC version of the aspiration catheter that is compatible with balloon catheters.
