Renova embolization coil system is a medical device used in neurovascular interventions to treat cerebral aneurysms, which are bulges in the blood vessels in the brain that can potentially rupture and cause a stroke. The Renova cerebral aneurysm coiling is made up of tiny wire coils that are inserted into the aneurysm through a catheter and packed in tightly to prevent blood flow that would otherwise further weaken the vessel wall.
