LAVA Liquid Embolic System have been made the clinical trials from Jan 2022 in Chinese hospitals.
Till now, the 75 enrolled subjects (38 in the experimental group and 37 in the control group) were all successfully embolized and withdrawn from the catheter, and the embolization success rate was 100%. Total of 9 cases of 20 SAEs have occurred in the project, and no SAEs related to the experimental device have occurred.
Regarding LAVA-12 , its viscosity is 12 cSt, lower viscosity to the distal microvessles. It can combine with LAVA-18 and LAVA-34, and have good treatment.
