LavaTM Peripheral Liquid Embolic
LavaTM peripheral liquid embolic has excellent diffusibility and flowability and visibility. It refers to the ability of a liquid embolic agent to diffuse into small blood vessels and occlude them. The liquid carrier used in diffusible agents is designed to be low viscosity and to flow easily. This ensures that the embolic agent can reach all desired areas of the target vessel and occlude them. Flowability refers to the ability of a liquid embolic agent to flow easily through vessels during administration. LavaTM peripheral liquid embolic agents are made up of a high viscosity polymer that is suspended in a low viscosity carrier. The high viscosity of the polymer ensures that the embolic agent will not dislodge or migrate once it has been deposited in the target vessel. The low viscosity of the carrier ensures that the embolic agent will flow easily through small and tortuous vessels, allowing for precise intraoperative control.
Features&Advantages
1. Lava uses non-adhesive material with low injection resistance. The extubation is easier and safer.
2. As domestic unique low-viscosity formula, the most complete viscosity models, Lava-12, Lava-18 and Lava-34, low, medium and high three viscosity can meet various clinical needs.
3. Excellent penetration and fluidness can penetrate into the lesion deeply to reach tiny blood vessels at the distal end. So it has strong maneuverability make a safer surgery.
4. The micronized Tantalum powder provides excellent visibility.
